Foil Boards
After more than 20 years building boards in our backyards - hs Foil was finally officially founded with a business address in Braeside Victoria.
Never Satisfied with Mass Production boards - hs foil has a running start as masters of 'Biaxial' Carbon fiber layups - advanced Vaccum bagging techniques provide a lighter, stiffer board with no sacrifice in strength.
Foiling is a unique sport where the apparent 'masters' will tell you that they are infact "Were alll still learning" - hsFoil boards will take your foiling journey to new levels.

Whether your Ultimate goal is to Wing foil in the Bay, Down wind foil, Prone foil or eFoil - progression towards all disciplines is achived "One Step at a time", Experience over time will also teach you to read local wind and weather conditions to plan your sessions.
We've found that having a mentored 'Partnership' with an Advanced level foiler delivers the fastest progression for people learning "the next step" in the foiling journey.
Great Coaches will use varied equipment that is suited to the days weather / wind / wave conditions - rather than just going out on the same gear at the same spot every time -
That means good timing for the best sessions will vary also.
Over time - Self practice sessions / honing the skills taught between sessions will have a major impact on your learning speed.

eTow
What is 'eTow'
'eTow' is especially suited to foiling - a small electric powered Remote controlled boat typically is used to tow a foiler up onto foil.
We call the etow the "tow Bogan' or the ' Launcher' - Its kinda cheating as it gets you to foil easy and its bloody great fun... The Goal is to use the surge power of the little electric boat to get you up on foil - and use the 'whip' off it to practice and extend your human powered pumping distance.

As a coaching tool - eTow offers the easiest way to get time up flying on foil. The Lack of Prop Wash minimises erratic foil flight, and the incredibly short stopping distance keeps the etow right there infront of you when you stack. No time wasted for another go. Obviously while learning you will fall (A Lot)... when you Fall - Get back on the board, grab the rope and go again. No need to wait for the boat to circle around... You just grab the rope and go again... repeat. You might fly and fall 45 times in the first hour learning - that would take nearly 2 months in the surf to get that many waves and gain the same worth of experience ...

Advanced foilers are using eTow to 'launch' up onto foil and then whip off at maximum speeds to start their flight into waves, or bumps - them its all about the pump - how far can you go... Unlike tow foiling with surfboards - the glide of foils allows release from the rope and glide at speed flying quite long distances from the etow... Guys are surfing rivers, boat wakes, Ship wakes, ocean bumps, bomies, rolling swells - tidal bores - endless.
