Price Quoted includes the complete eTow Launcher without batteries. Due to difficulties shipping Lithium batteries in the kit, weve designed the etow to run on 6s RC batteries, available at any RC store, Ebay or your local hobby shop.

We can cut / shapes and finish an etow hull build in around 3 weeks from order, The Hulls are cut and glassed as we go, Assembly from there is usually fairly fast (under a week)...
The eTow Launcher is a SINGLE MOTOR unit.

Steering add ons and why the 'Launcher' version has been released without GPS steering.

We have explored adding ' follow me' steering as well as rudder steering via buttons on the remote / servo to the etow, and have found that these features are not necessary for all users - Most of our local etow locations are quite unsuitable for automated use.

So we've released this unit with the simple rope steering that works so well. Its low tech, nothing to break - and much safer with less likelyhood of running over someone or something on 'auto pilot' - We wanted to get the launcher out in the water at the lowest price point possible.

Not having electronic steering does not stop you having the best session of your life, and paddling back to the etow is kinda nice to get your breath back.

If you live in a region where automous water craft use is the go - we'd reccommend the 'tow boogie' its a full featured awesome bit of kit.

There have been giant leaps ahead with this design showing unsurpassed stability at speed across choppy water.

The Hull Design has evolved with inspiration coming from high powered ocean racing boats - we have chosen hand laid fibreglass as the material of choice for its major servicability advantages along with the solid fibreglass layout being virtually indestructable.

We've enjoyted the eTow in applications with this basic eTow launcher for over 2 years - Its been unreal fun and this Solid Moulded Fibreglass Hull has evolved out of countless sessions on the water and numerous impacts with boat ramps, waves, beaches and even trees honing the shape and design to what it is today.

ABOUT THE Included MOTOR MOUNTS

The Motor Mounts have been designed many times over - to get the maximum power to water and also minimum torque twist affecting the etow.

We've added a forward rake into the shape to pull any cavitation bubbles off the prop when riding fast, and weve added tripple m8 bolts through the mount bodies to give them strength. A Recent redesign of the base and fin has improved efficiency immensely - giving the etow a higher top speed and improving run time.
