SINGLE MOTOR SET UPS
During Testing - we have found the larger 70182 Motor delivers excellent pull for heavier riders over 80Kgs - Its powerfull enough to run it as a single.
It is advised that internal weight is distributed off centre to help reduce the effects of torque twist.
TWIN MOTOR SET UPS
The Inline Twin set up were running in most of our Youtube videos runs really true in disturbed waters, and suffers very little torque twist or cavitation. Absolutely love this set up. The Motors were running are twin Maytec 65121 - With a max thrust of 3700w each at 140KV. - They have strong torque early and top out at around 24Kmph. Coming off the whip on the rope will have you pushing above 32kmph with practice - Love this set up.
A single 150Amp Rated battery operating at 14s 6 P is reccommended as a minimum power source. This will run the etow over an hour in typical ride conditions... The motors can pull up to 75 Amp Each at full load. - so at least a 150 Amp rated BMS is important.
Twin 150 Amp 14s 6p Batteries will fit into the etow body easily, and adds welcomed weight and run times up over 2 hours at full throttle . We like the twin battery set up to complement the twin motors as it reduces loads on the batteries and cabling, They are also easier to carry in a pair as your balanced !
Steering add ons
We have explored 'Bulldozer' steering as well as rudder steering via servo, and will be releasing an integrated steering via rudder in time, this kit operates via an electronic ram, and uses upgraded Aerial, reciever and BreMOTE all together that bolt in to the etow hull should you wish to use a bought one.
Reccommended remotes for non - steering Use
There are many many remotes on the market, Weve used Maytec (Good and actually waterproof) and Flipski v2 (not actually very waterproof) and their included recievers with success over the past few years.
The More sophisticated remotes like the BreMote V2 are necessary once you go to servo or bulldozer steering upgrades as they have twin controller recivers.
We reccommend the BreMote in most applications where you will be running twin motors and twin Motor controllers.

The Single Motor Mount Aluminium Option provides an excellent workable platform for those that want to experiment with servo steering, or just prefer rope steering and simplicity -
Weve done the majority of our foiling and surfing with no steering, just steering via turning - its remarkably easy and fun with far less tech set up and components... We reccommend everyone starts this way, steering is cool, - but not essential to a good time :)

ABOUT THE Included MOTOR MOUNTS
The Motor Mounts have been designed many times over - to get the maximum power to water and also minimum torque twist affecting the etow.
We've added a forward rake into the shape to pull any cavitation bubbles off the prop when riding fast, and weve added tripple m8 bolts through the mount bodies to give them strength.
